Why viaFuture? Unfortunately, most current strategy, policy and management models are too limited for today’s problems and inadequate for succeeding with a more challenging future. In America and in the World, we are all vulnerable to a greater or less extent. We need to minimize vulnerability via policies and politics that systematically stop forces that push us down to more vulnerability and support forces that help lift us out of vulnerability. Vulnerable [Vulnerable in America and World] is a potential national strategy to minimize vulnerability. Vulnerable is what we are targeting to change. We want to move toward the vision of a thriving and surviving America and world and the endgame strategy for achieving that vision. To help make this happen, we draw upon lessons learned over the past 30+ years among the Federal Executive and Legislative branches, local government, and private sector organizations to create more effective and integrated programs and policies for reducing vulnerability and to successfully manage these programs and policies. |
